I think I burnt out on posting like I was. I think maybe I might do a summary post moving forward rather than an every day sort of thing. I'm just not used to posting like I used to do. So I'll try that moving forward.
I started the week off with m-flo and an album they released in 2000, Shining Planet. They were good even before I listened to their "m-flo loves" collaborations. I really liked this album. More than I expected to.

Today I listened to Crystal Kay's debut album, C.L.L. Crystal Lover Light, from the year 2000. Quite the name for a debut but this is Japan we're talking about and you could tell from the get-go that Crystal is an amazing singer. Not my favorite album, but enjoyable.

Today I listened to Versailles! I was introduced to them a long time ago as a result of trying to get into a friend's music. I wasn't much in to Malice Mizer when Gackt left but for some reason Versailles hit a note with me and I'm glad that I still had a copy of one of their albums. Lyrical Symphony, released in 2007, is an excellent listen and I enjoyed it.

To my list of predetermined listens, I decided that I wanted to add a soundtrack in there and it didn't matter what it was, just that it was a soundtrack, so I listened to Bleach the Best from 2006. Listening to this album reminded me that I really did love the theme songs used for Bleach. I'd love to get back in to that manga and the show but there's so much that it will take a lot of motivation to do so.

This day I was very tired and so it was a struggle to get through this album but I still liked it despite that. I was just recently introduced to One OK Rock and decided to add them to my list and I was not disappointed. It's a good album and I look forward to listening to more of their works.

My step-dad introduced me to Joe Satriani years ago and I remember really liking one of their songs, Summer Song, or something like that. So I had added a bunch of their stuff to my music library. This album was definitely easy listening.

This day's album was such a pleasure to listen to. I love Utada's voice and her songs a lot. Especially some of those used as themes for games or such when she was really popular. This album is so good and has some favorites of mine. Definitely recommend it.

This album has "Diary of Jane" and "Breathe" on it, which are two songs I really like by this band. It was nice to listen to it all the way through.

This is a delightful mini-album by f(x), which is a Korean group I really liked. Especially the electronic, dance, and rock elements to their brand. This album definitely holds up.

As with the album of the day, it was a struggle to get through this album. I remember the time when I was interested in this album because I was trying to understand a crush at my job who was a raver. It has some good tracks that hold up even today despite how I felt this day.

Thank you for reading. I think I'm going to do this summary instead of posting every day because I don't have the time nor the energy to do so at this point. I keep wondering to myself where all that energy went to but just towards age and life.
