“What are you thinking about?” Tony asks.

Steve knows that Tony expects him to say something mundane or boring. Propelled by the perpetual urge to throw Tony off-balance, Steve tells him the truth: “I’m thinking about sex.”

In a world where Sentinels, people with five heightened senses, bond mentally and spiritually with Guides, people gifted with empathetic powers, Tony Stark has spent thirty-three years overwhelmed by the emotions of those around him and running from his own. Sentinel Steve Rogers wakes up sixty years out of his own time and struggles to deal with the massive amount of new sensory input while trying to find his footing in a New York very different from the one he knew. When they finally find each other, how will their bond change them?

When Tony comes back from a very bad D/s date, in pain and abandoned by his dom, Steve offers to help Tony out and give him all the aftercare he so desperately needs.

Tony wakes up naked in a place he doesn't recognize. Not unusual for him, except this hasn't happened to him since the eighties, and he's usually not in the company of the supersoldier he's carrying a torch for. Who is also naked. And who is now privy to the sight of Tony's wing stumps, an injury he's successfully hidden from the public - and his teammates - for years. Not just because he hates the sight of them, but also because they're a dead giveaway that he's Ironman. This couldn't be more of a shit show.

Tony eats those words as soon as the aphrodisiac kicks in.
