  • Finish scarf knitting project for Mom  Success!
  • Drink 92 oz of water a day [Per MayoClinic]
  • Finish another book binding
  • No snacks from market at work - Failed maybe 3 times
  • Make 4 out of 5 morning meetings at work a week consistently - haha no
  • Be in bed by 11PM Sun through Thurs - Nope
  • Do morning stretches/warmup 3x a week - Not successful lol

  • Clean and paint old dresser - Cleaned it but painting will wait, held maybe only half of our DVD collection - Going to get new bookshelves in the spring.
  • Food-related
    • Still no fast food unless with others - Haha no
    • Work towards full breakfast versus dinner - Kinda working with this

  • New tires and wheels for Acadia {$2600)
  • AC checked (Acadia) ($3500 later)
  • Stereo (Acadia) (not for $1k to $1400)
  • 128 oz of water a day
  • Update carrd thing
  • No Fast Food (September has been my no fast food month for the last few years)
    • Exceptions: Coffee beverages
    • Already fully failed this, but mostly with my parents which has always been the exception in previous years. I bought Taco Bell this last Thursday (updated 9/19/2025)
  • No snacks from the market at work - failed 1x so far
  • Paint old dresser black (before moving into library for DVD storage)

A list of things to do for August, both habits and self-restrictions and so on:
  • 7 hours of sleep consistently - Nope lol
  • 128 ounces of water a day - Haha didn't happen
  • No snacks from the market at work - Successful!
  • No FB, IG, Twit (can do on laptop when at home) or other socmeds except Discord - Mostly. A surprise from my ST friends made me come back to IG a week and a half early lol
  • No games on phone - Successful!
Automotive
  • New tires and wheels - HAHA NO
  • AC - Nope
  • Stereo - Nope
Other to do
  • Update carrd - Not even

Ha. I only was successful with like two things in August LOL. Ah well.

Remember when people on your flist used to do this? I do. People still did it on Tumblr, twit, and so on, but I liked the journal like this because you could use strike through. I thought about using discord but meh.

Anyways. This is my plan for tomorrow. So far. And maybe I won't get to clearing my car but I need to at least acknowledge it.

  • Take out trash
  • break down boxes
  • wipe counters in kitchen
  • groceries
  • finish laundry
  • change bed sheet
  • put blankets in library
  • break down boxes in car
  • put items for storage in car
  • get cleaning wipes for car
  • make dinner ordered instead lol

Have not yet done anything but I have yet to turn on my YouTube watchlist and in my head I'm kind of thinking making Sundays no video day. Meaning no YT, no TV, etc. Not sure if it will stick, but hey, might be good for productivity lol.

Anyway, woke up today around 7AM, which means I might have successfully reset myself. As long as I don't procrastinate going to bed tonight because I have to go back to work tomorrow. Sigh.
