Jun. 11th, 2021 06:47 pmThis week I started recording a 45k fic and trying to do it in approximately 30 minute chunks of time so as not to stress my voice too much. I still have a ways to go but I feel okay about it so far. The Foul Puck episode 44 is nearly finished editing so I will hopefully get that uploaded to the folder for Nancy by the end of the weekend and then I am finally editing the podfic I recorded back in March. Hopefully I'll have it done before June is finished so I have something for Sheith Month.
I've decided that I'm going to make Monday nights game night, as in SIMS 4, every Monday evening. I've got a fun legacy challenge that I started and I am enjoying it as it is challenging me to play SIMS that I wouldn't have created on my own. So it's fun. I'll try and post some screenshots at some point.
The current thing I'm reading is the really fleshed out, detailed Hannigram fic called Faded Fantasy (Link here). This is actually the second fic in this series and I like it. It's long though, the first fic is 82k and the second is 150k so it's loooong. lol
Tomorrow is our first in person performance in a year. I decided to make it simple with a handful of our standards and now I'm nervous because it's an AAPI Heritage Day in which some local representatives are wanting to speak at and who knows how many people will be there. And I am not in my best shape so I am so glad that A will do the speaking. She's the most fluent and lived 10 years in Japan as a teacher, so she is very familiar with the language and culture. In comparison, I know more than the average person but I'm not anywhere near her level, so I am grateful for her.
Anyways, just felt like updating.
