josilverdragonI had a random comment about HRC and the election process, but I can't, for the life of me remember exactly what I wanted to say...
Perhaps it was something about how she's losing money and loaning her campaign money from her own coffers. Or perhaps it was something about how it seems the Clinton campaign is in denial about the primary race. She won by a 2-point margin in Indiana, while losing in North Carolina by 14, according to CNN's data on the NC primary.
Or, perhaps it was this article from The Nation by Betsy Reed, on how HRC's campaign played the race card and divided the feminist movement.
Who knows now. I sure don't but those were the things recently in my mind.
Because ofpaynesgrey 's change in layout and apparent liking of Iron Man (2008), I want to go see it. But I'll wait until I get paid. And I finally broke down and bought a copy of Sunshine (2007) because I'd been keeping the dvd from Netflix hostage.
And an acquaintance from work recommended Erin Hunter's Warrior cat series. I'm almost done with Warriors: Power of Three #1: The Sight. It's cute and if I was 10 to 15 years younger, I might be crazy about it, but I'm not going to read anymore than this book I'm currently reading.
I've also picked up Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey again(Kushiel's Legacy wiki), because Kushiel's Mercy is coming out soon. Andread_twilight's re-reading of the series in preparation for the Breaking Dawn release will start on the 19th of May. SO SOON! Not to mention the amount of books I've started and put down. EEYAAA.
*sigh* Too many things.
Oh, and MySpace has a karaoke thing that I'm loving. And I think I should get some sort of ballcap that has a flashing red sign on it that says "Geek" with an arrow pointing down. Because I am. I am a big, eccentric geek. And I love it.
