Didn't update last night like I wanted because I was exhausted and the parentals came home so I spent a couple of hours talking with them. And like I suspected I only moved items I wanted to put in storage to the car, but everything else fell by the wayside. Ended up picking up The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo at Auntie's yesterday before I picked up dinner and groceries.
Today is my first day back at work post-vacation and the first thing I noticed was they have started construction on the back end of this little business park, so now all those trees are gone. They turned this beautifully wooded area into a pavement paradise and it was such a saddening thing to see. I hate to see it.
I'll update more as the day goes on.

I bought new shoes - loafers - and I hate them lol. I will not likely wear them after today. I miss my wide toe box shoes. I may have to look for mens-sized loafers because these are way too restictive in the toes. Ugh. And they are the right size, but toes frequently are squished and it's uncomfortable. Especially after having worn wide toe box shoes for almost 2 years.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a good read so far. Love the premise and the characters. It's been a while since I've not gotten bored a few chapters in.

Well, I was going to complete this update last night but I felt sleepy around 9pm and decided to lay down. So here we are lol. I am so glad we have Monday off for Labor Day. I am simultaneously glad to be back to work and also so tired of work already.
I have some additional things I need to get done this week so I think I'll make a to do post again. That helped a lot. And my plans for August. . .well, will be funny to see everything I didn't get done in the month of August. Although I'm slightly dreading fully going back to my socials.
Anyway, I'll keep you updated.
