WANTED

Was undeniably an awesome film to watch. It's one of those films that combine humor, drama, and violence.  I was laughing my head off in the first half and held speechless in the second.

Pretty awesome in my opinion.  And I was very happy that the director did so well.  He's Timur Bekmambetov, the guy who did "Night Watch" and "Day Watch".  His movies were okay.  This one? Superb.

I suppose if you like movies that confuse you and make you question what you know, then this isn't the movie for you.  What might have been "super powers" in the comic books, he translated into something that could maybe be possible.  I loved that it wasn't like "You have GREAT POWER", it was "You have an ability that you can control."  You had to watch this guy get pommeled and work hard to get his ability to work for him. I liked that.

And Angelina was delicious and strong and packs quite the punch! She is so awesome.

I realize my vocabulary isn't very varied, but what can I say? She was Fox. And James McAvoy was Wesley. And Morgan Freeman kicked ass. Loved him in this.

"Wanted" will be one for my collection.

And I so want a movie poster!

It will be worth the wait, I think. It's a good movie. I hate waiting though, so I can sympathize.

At least it's August and not next year? (See? I'm trying to look on the positive side. lol)

To go with hana_ginkawa's positive thinking, at least it wasn't banned! :D Malaysia (my country) bans movies sometimes... Brokeback Mountain, Queen of the Damned...

It was fucking mind blowing! Loved it! and couldn't agree more with your review. I can't waint for the DVD. I feel like the left out alot! I dont even recall the scene where she's asking him "Would you like to?" Did you? that part where James (Wes) asks her "Are we bonding now?"
