It's seriously disturbing how people can be online. I have a handful of friends who are creators, writers, artists, etc, and I have always been patient if they are working something I'm gnashing my teeth to get a hold of. You can't expect someone to create because you DEMAND it. Maybe you could have in the Dark Ages, if you were a Lord or King, and your word was law. But not on the internet, not because someone is willingly spending time writing, or drawing, on something you love.

One of the fanfiction writers I recently discovered while searching for Stony (Steve/Tony aka Captain America/Iron Man) has a story based on the X-Men: First Class fandom, Charles/Eric, and it was a fic that absolutely killed me. It was AU, at college, Charles and Eric run a fraternity together. Charles is gay, Eric is his best friend who he is in love with. The characters don't have any super powers, but their personalities are greatly portrayed as true to the characters in canon. Or at least I believe it to be so. The author has a lot of other things she's working on. And she writes GREAT fic. This is the same one who wrote "Ready, Fire, Aim" of Steve/Tony fandom. Link to "Carpe Brewskies"l.

I could not believe it. How do you think that will get you what you want? This is why she announced the fanfic to be on hiatus. I just....I am uncertain as to WHY ANYONE would think this is a good idea?

I'm sorry to all my creator friends. You guys deal with a lot of shit when you have a lot of followers, and I'm sorry you have to deal with it. I LOVE YOU GUYS. *sigh*
