I've only gotten through three books in 2012. More accurate to say I've gotten through one and am gamely stumbling through the other two.

I might have more here, but I've been reading fanfiction like crazy. Maybe I should start a list for that as well??? XD

Well, the fanfiction is a big part of what sucks up my time as welll, but I hesitate to classify a significant portion of that as "literature."

Additionally, the two books I'm reading are nonfiction - one dealing with the issue of skewed sex ratios in modern demographics, the latter an examination of drug violence in Mexico - so that's part of the issue. I mean, the two issues interest me, but nonfiction can be pretty damn dry, so my ADHD bugs out about 30-40 minutes into a read.

Edit: Also, I feel like I am one of the last people in the world who hasn't read The Hunger Games, yet. IS IT TRUE?

Yeah, I wouldn't classify it as literature, though you find some amazing writers. It is unfortunate that those who might qualify will probably never be recognized outside of fandom circles.

Uh, goodness. It always takes me awhile to get through non-fiction, so my list isn't quite that incredible considering all of it is fiction and fast-reading fiction. Not that it's a competition, but you've got me beat, I think.

You might be, but I know a few people at work who have not read it. It's pretty good reading. Quick, and easy. It took me a while to get into the first book, but that was only up to when the reaping began. Then I couldn't put it down.
