Everyone Who Is Gone Is Here: The United States, Central America, and the Making of a Crisis by Jonathan BlitzerMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
When they say that this is not who we are as a country, don't believe them.
This was a good read. Opened my eyes to how the US had/has treated South American countries, specifically El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala and the people who were seeking asylum in the US. Same story, different administrations.
I am very grateful for how the author told the story through multiple POVs regarding the points in which he wanted to cover. Definitely suggest this.
