The book of love has music in it
Nov. 15th, 2025 11:25 amLife has been busy. I had a request I wanted to finish by yesterday and I did. Sent it off and we shall see on Monday if it's what they needed. The ticket (this is at work lol) came in and I worked on it pretty non-stop until Friday evening. We shall see if it works or not lol sigh.
Life has. . . been life-ing. I will say that doing things little chores before getting ready for bed has been working pretty well. I know that at the least, I want to make sure the cat's water is full and that their box is scooped is the the least I should do, because it makes all our lives easier. Mine and the kitties lol.
The parentals' new dog is a pain in my ass. I keep telling her no, and to stay away from my room and the nearby bathroom where the cat's food is, but she keeps pushing and I keep having to yell at her. I don't like her, but Mom is determined.
Finished a knitting project I started years ago for my mom and am trying to finish a shawl that I started wayyy at the beginning of my knitting journey lol. It will happen eventually. Then I can work on the entrelac scarf I started for a friend. It's super pretty and I am excited to work on it again, but I want to get this shawl done first. Basically I'm trying to cut back on my in progress projects so I only have one at a time lol. Once I get the shawl and the scarf done, I'm scrapping the blanket I was going to do (it's in the beginning stages so it's nothing to pull out) and going to work on finishing a cross-stitch project I started almost 20 years ago lol. Then I'll decide what to do next after that. Well, actually, I'll probably finish binding the four text blocks I have. Depends though, on what they are. I don't even remember lol.
I need to clean off my desk again as it's a nightmare lol.
