I am watching a clip of Malice Mizer's live performance of "le ciel" on Pop Jam, and thinking over the reasons why Gackt and MM parted ways. Not only musical differences I'm sure, but also Gackt's popularity may have well brought about the end of his participation in the group.

I could be wrong. *shrugs*
