Social Media Hiatus Day Seventeen

josilverdragonI started my mirroring this weekend, so I copy posts to Wordpress and then those are automatically fed over to the tumblr blog I chose it to go to. Mainly for back up purposes but I'm seeing more people interact with it than anticipated, especially on Wordpress, where I can see the basic stats for it, and I'm like. . . hm. No one knows who I am, right? lol
Eventually I'll be moving my poetry to DW as well as my quote blog stuff, but I'm a little bit like. . . uhhhhh, my real name is on the poetry stuff (which the last was posted in 2023) and activity on my poetry blog was nil when I privated it so I'm hopeful it's not going to be an issue. If it turns out to be an issue, I'll deal with it then. I'm not a big name anyone so I honestly doubt anyone cares lol
Anyway, I wanted to bring all my stuff together under one hood so yeah. I think I'm thinking too much into it and everything will be okay.
I ended up looking at my former drum group's page. Feeling a sense of nostalgia but also betrayal. Haha. Told I would be welcome back and when I thought about it and was supported by the current leader, there ended up being objections by the rest of the senior members who remained. So yeah. A bit of a sting that one. But also, I did leave abruptly, but at the best time I could. Bittersweet that they are doing well and that I can't look at it anymore. Like, at all.
Almost 15 years of my life gone and I broke up not only with the group and running it, but also with the people in it.
Moving on because that's what I'm choosing to do.
Today I went and picked up some more syrups for our coffee bar, got some lunch to go, filled my gas tank in my car and picked up groceries. Also stopped to pick up the mail and sadly the harem pants I received are too tight around the midsection so I am returning it. The shoes seem fine as do the bike shorts. Those I wear to sleep in.
Not a lot happened today tbh. I spent a lot of money though. For things I had put off buying for a while but finally just did it. Other than my errands, I kept working on my fanfiction organization and journal clean up. And tomorrow I think I'll start on my room. I tried to see if I could move some things around but due to space limitations, the only thing I could move is my bed, so I'm going to rotate it and see how I like that. It will give me an opportunity to clean out the room and vacuum and so on.
So we shall see how it goes!
