Now, she was transferring all the data she had gathered during her undercover work and synchronizing it with their network. Always working, Kolivan thought. He was guilty of the same habit, though, so he could hardly fault her. Just try to encourage her to take a break.
He laid a hand on her shoulder, and she shot him a cold glare. “You’re an idiot, Kolivan.”
He arched an eyebrow, the lack of title not escaping his notice. She didn’t often call him by his given name, not since he became the group’s leader. “For?”

One Piece Volume One: Romance Dawn
Thought I would check it out because of the trailer that was released. I'm not sure if I want to continue but I at least wanted to give the manga a chance. Maybe one day I'll come back.
Edit: It wasn't bad! But I am not a huge fan of pirates as a whole or for entertainment as my interests lean more towards scifi fantasy and not pirate fantasy adventure.

Guilty Pleasures (Anita Blake book 1) by Laurell K Hamilton
My first introduction to Anita Blake was when I was in high school in the late 90s and I have nearly every one of the series. I dropped out of reading like I used to for a few years so I'm rereading old favorites to see if they are indeed still favorites and so far. . . Anita is so judgy in this book. She evolves later into the character I love but woww. She's come a long way and I can't wait to get back to her evolved form.
